All form submittals, payments, and communication are conducted using a secure, HIPPA-compliant portal through the Therapy Notes platform. After an initial free consultation, you'll be provided the necessary information to access the portal. The applicable forms and method of payment will need to be submitted prior to our first session.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, most psychotherapy services I provide are covered under medical health plans. I do not participate on the panels of any insurance carrier nor do I accept direct reimbursement from insurance carriers and am considered an "out-of-network" provider.
You are responsible for all fees at the end of each session. Most clients seek reimbursement from their insurance companies through their policy’s out-of-network benefits. Each insurance company differs in the percentage they will pay for an out of network provider and for each service, so please consult your membership specialist prior to our first meeting to understand your benefits. You will want to ask your insurance company about:
- Coverage for "outpatient psychotherapy services"
- The percentage of reimbursement for an "out of network provider" including any deductible amount
I am happy to provide you with a receipt including diagnostic code, specialty code, procedure and other information you may need to submit your claim.
Appointment times are available on a flexible basis. Fees are as follows:
$250 Initial assessment for both individuals and couples (90 min)
$150 Regular teletherapy session (45 min)
$250 Teletherapy sessions implementing techniques such as EMDR (90 min)
Fees are collected shortly after each session. Presently, with only conducting virtual sessions, credit card is the accepted form of payment. Although I do my best to strictly adhere to my schedule, in times of crises it may be necessary to extend a session. In those rare cases, I will charge the additional time on a pro-rated basis.
The time you schedule is held for you and 24 hours notice of cancellation is required to avoid being charged the regular session fee. Cancellation should be by phone with a follow up message through the portal. I recognize your time is valuable and you are taking time from your busy schedule to see me. If for some reason I do not make an appointment without the same 24 hour notice, the next session will be at no charge to you.
